They are butterfly clasps. Hadley Roma. I prefer them over the tang buckles the strap comes with.
They look a lot better than the Tang buckle and the original Rolex clasp. That might the way to go.

FWIW I put a black Everest on my GMT LN and love it, I got the version that works with the Rolex clasp so it looks very integrated. The nice thing about Everest over RubberB is they come pre-measured based on the number of links you're using on your bracelet, so installation involves a simple swap. RubberB requires cutting & measuring. I tried both, kept the Everest. Also, the RubberB has a sort of "fake endlink" thing going on whereas the Everest is smooth the whole way, nicer IMO.

What is interesting with either rubber strap is the whole look of the watch changes from "somewhat squared" when the steel bracelet is used to "round with protruding lugs" when a strap is used. Even discounting the black rubber it gives you two completely different looks which is a bit of a bonus (for some!)

Big fan of the 93150 on my 14060M however would love to also hear some more ideas. I've contemplated picking up a RubberB but don't love the look enough for the price, it would likely just end up in my drawer with the rest of em.

I had a RubberB on my 16610 and it was nice, but for sure not the best on the market 😉

😕 I was pretty set on getting a RubberB later in the year. Just trying the ToxicNato to see how a rubber strap feels on the 14060M. I would be interested in your opinion as to why the Everest is better than the RubberB. I have been trying a lot of different straps over the last few days but not a lot of them fit as there is very little clearance between the case and the springbars.

I've try both and I feel the Everest more "flexible", and it looks a bit thicker on wrist. Moreover, if I remember correctly, Everest has more holes to adjust the size. And the price is a bit lower, especially if you search well on internet.
There is no much difference, they are both high-quality, but I slightly prefer the Everest 😉

This is an impression that I had with only few trials of the Everest, maybe using it everyday it could show some defects, but none of my friends is complaining.

There is a blog with a comparison, maybe it could be useful for you in making this choiche:

Thanks for the comparison. I'll get an Everest strap at some point. One of the main reasons being shipping. Everest charge US$3 and RubberB charge US$30.

For some odd reason, other than standard NATOs, I find that leather or rubber straps, are not at home on a Rolex sports watch. I can't put my finger on it. I tried in the past and I never achieved a satisfying result.

Cheers,

That was one of my concerns and the reason for buying a US$30 rubber strap before dumping US$220 on an Everest. I have a Seiko MM300 on a Crafter Blue that is perfect. That is mainly to save weight and bulk which isn't really an issue with a Sub. Come to think of it I could get a pretty decent Seiko for the price of an Everest.

I would suggest to follow the recommendations and use a RubberB oder Everrest, even if it is expensive. Unfortunately they are too small for my wrists, so I can not use them, bit I would like to. 🙁

Been wearing the Sub on a ToxicNato Magnum for the last few days. For US$30 I think you would be hard pushed to find a better strap. It's supple, comfortable and doesn't attract lint and other crap. There isn't even a very big gap between the strap and the case. Probably not everyones cup of tea but I'll be sticking with it for a while.
