I saw it in german Ebay. It endet at 4000 Euros. I don´t understand that auction...

It was listed as an auction with starting price 4000 euros and also had a make an offer option. I had put in an offer and was alerted by Ebay that it was sold for 10k eur when the auction ended.

But, when I looked on the auction yesterday, there remained six days until the end of the auction. Then it has been ended suddenly...
No information from ebay except "4000 = end price".
???...

Here is what Longines replied in regards to Fab Suisse dials on LXW movements:

OK. As the Longines vintage department tells us this fact, we have to believe it (or not).
I´m looking for these watches since nearly 30 years and I´m sure I never saw a 13ZN with "LXW" on the balance cock equiped with a Fab Suisse dial. Except this one and the other one which was found by DirtyDozen 12.
F.i. there´s one 30CH in Goldberger I. : It has "LXW" - but on the dial is written "SUIZA".
...
...
I tried to interprete the movement pic. The movement number seems to be 6033508 (503xxxx + 703xxxx are implausible in my opinion)

Maybe it is possible to ask Mrs. Trummer about a 13Zn with this movement number (maybe 6035508, 6035509?).
Maybe there is some additonal information about the watch and it´s destination.
But the problem remains: Everybody can combine any 13ZN movement with any 13ZN dial - collectors nightmare, dealers pleasure.

rgds - h.u.

The 3’s & 5’s are unclear. Need clearer photos of the serial numbers to be sure.

There is also another one with LXW and Fab suisse dial in eBay now:

I think the letter from Longines gives the Fab Suisse/LXW combo a little chance,
but I have seen collectors prove the Heritage Department wrong before. It would
be interesting to see an extract of the archives on both watches mentioned in this
tread. To see when/where they were invoiced to.

I would imagine it's Longines Wittnauer given the LXW

Me too !!! I asked for this dial (obviously faked)

and they told me that it is legit. Generally in earlier years Longines was very large-minded considering wrong-or-fake questions...

"I would imagine it's Longines Wittnauer given the LXW" --- does Longines Wittnauer sell watches to South America as well???

If Longines said this dial was legit then it's not obviously faked I assume?

OK. So we have here the one and only "radial 12-hour-counter dial" ...

A true unicorn! 😜

But I do agree that I would love to see some examples by Longines heritage to back up their assertion that Fab suisse dials were used in other countries apart from France / French colonies.

If you like horrible re-dials I guess it's okay😉

Question of taste, but the one above is mild compared to the one below:
