So I serviced two geneves with 1012 mov,
1: date changes but just a bit short of completely to next date on both!
2: the second hand stutters . I’ve checked friction springs and lub.
Amp was 190 which is why I serviced the
Amp is now 290 and 272.
Amp and rate are a flat line on timegrapher any line does not change when second hand stutters.

Any ideas?
Thanks

Does that movement have indirectly-driven seconds hand? Plenty of movements have that issue. Many times it's the tension spring.

I am not a watchmaker, I have just had this issue before and that's how it was explained to me.

Are you saying the date number isn’t centred in the dial opening? Or I doesn’t change exactly at 12:00? Sounds to me as though either problem should be something you should be able to correct. Is the stuttering seconds hand really that big a problem?
