What color thread is this? Looks nice. Is it beige?
Also, interesting distressed look. I had not noticed this in his selection.

It’s a black strap (distressed) with brown stitching. The strapmaker describes it as, ‘Vacchetta nera abrasa … cucito filo nocciola.’

I had one made by the strapmaker based on the recommendation of @Syrte and the endorsement of @NT931 and @timex. It arrived in today’s post. #impressed

Nice! I hadn't realized he made open ended straps. He just made one for me, and it should arrive soon too 😀

He made these two open-ended straps, too.
Lovely straps. The longines on the left is delectable too!

Mine just arrived - very pleased! Where else can I make a custom 17mm short (105/70mm) strap with open ends?

They’re beautiful!! 👍
Gentlemen you’ve pushed me over the edge, my second order is in the mail and I can’t wait to get it.... several sizes- including another 15mm open ended strap (sand colored suede.. not shown on the picture).

Hello, forum. Here’s a first-time post for me …

A recent acquisition has put me on a quest for an open-ended strap for a watch with lugs measuring 15mm. I’ve tried a 16mm strap, but it bulges at the sides and looks untidy. Scouring the Internet, I’ve not found any suitable 15mm vintage-style straps (that’s the key for me: vintage style).

What do you all put on your vintage Longines watches with 15mm fixed lugs?

May I know the size of the longines?

The one in the first picture with my post is ~32.5mm w/o crown.

This thread is becoming quite painful! Your Longines is beautiful but what about us mortals who can't afford to pay more for the strap than the watch?

Here is a selection of some of the watches i have acquired, all but two in the last month or so, which by coincidence take an open lug strap. How much does this guy cost please?
