Zenith "Stötsäker" cal 133.8

Hi.
I bought my first Zenith at auction yesterday because of the Bumper cal.133.8 movement and the dial, which I had never seen before. The crown also looks like the original star, with the letter Z in the center. An added treat is the Swedish word "stötsäker" on the case back. Will I find out anything more about this watch from you experts? If so, I would be very grateful.

Congratulations - nice watch. stötsäker means "shockproof" in Swedish.

Those dials do appear now and then, but yours appears to be a good, original example.

One of best bumper movements ever produced, in my view, and you appear to have found a nice case and dial to go with it.

Curious… does anyone know, with all the rest of the case back text in English, why did Zenith put stötsäcker?

I'm just guessing that the Swedish text was added to the already finished English, when it turned out that Sweden placed the order

Thank you. I collect Omega vintage and have a bumper movement in several watches, but I read about the Zenith cal 133, 133.8, 135 that they are the children of Ephrem Jobin, so I decided to have them. The first one is already bought, now I am waiting for the next two opportunities

Beautiful example. From the case number I would expect a serial number starting with 43. As stated by Tony, excellent movements. Get yourself a cal 71 which has the date at 3 o’clock. These are my favorites to collect.

Thanks. I'll show the mechanism as soon as the watch arrives. I have a friend who collects Zenith and he also recommends me to buy a watch from cal 71. It will be a little more difficult task, because there were several times less of them, but nobody said it has to be easy

interesting it’s not marked. All the 135s are chronometers

If you are referring to the 135 movements, there were a fair number in the final batch there were not marked as such.

i was referring to the 135. I guess they didn’t care at that point since they were moving onward

There's not a lot of choice, I'd prefer one with writing. Omega cal 30T2RG chronometer were even rarer, but I found one. Maybe I will be lucky with Zenith cal 135 ? Thank you gentlemen for your time.

Yesterday the watch landed at my place and today I have it on my wrist. It is nice, and the movement 133.8- beautiful
