Zenith 19.0250.463 Looking for Info Please :)

Hello! I got to the Forums here because of an Omega, and I have pleasantly discovered a lot more! 🙂

I need your help, please. Along with the aforementioned Omega, my father left me a Zenith, literally new in the box. It was a gift from his boss, but my father didn't like it, and since he was a strongly orderly oriented engineer, he put it away in a wardrobe as it was. 😁

As I found out, it's the model in the subject: 19.0250.463, but I know basically nothing else about it.
I could find online one other like it, but with a white face, in an auction, without any info regarding the year of production, mechanism details, anything.

Is there any Zenith expert in the house that can tell me more please? I'm genuinely curious!

Not an expert. But... The code at the back is Zeniths XX.YYYY.ZZZ reference format as you know. First two digits are case type, middle four digits define watch model/variant, and last 3 digits are caliber variant.

Curiously case type 19 for first XX isn't widely documented, and also the 'master' list of 'Zenith '70s model codes : movement numbers' at WUS doesn't contain movement ID for 463 (last ZZZ).

Would you consider getting it opened, and movement and inside of caseback photographed and shared so we can learn at least what (quartz, but wait, it says automatic on the dial?) movement 463 is? Or better yet, post the photos to the above WUS thread?

Yes, I can attest it's an automatic, it can also be wound by hand (they advise to do that when the watch is completely still after a long time).

I would have to wait to have it opened, I am leaving for my holidays tomorrow (finally!) and I'll be back in a couple of weeks, then I can do that.
