Looking for information about this T.E. Lawrence pocket watch

I purchased this antique Omega pocket watch with a portrait of T.E. Lawrence of Lawrence of Arabia fame. I picked it up for around $600, basically because I'm a Lawrence fan. I've looked and never seen another one of these anywhere else, and so have becoming increasingly curious about it. From the serial number it apparently dates the watch to 1939. I was wondering if anybody has any other information on this particular watch or any other similar ones. As far as I can tell, if there were any more made, they have to be extremely rare. Or possibly they made custom additions, and this was a custom edition made for somebody. Anyway, I am not an expert for sure. I wanted to see if anybody has any expertise on this? I'd love any other info. Aside from any historical value, it's a beautiful old pocket watch. It's in perfect working order and looks to be all original.

Neat. I’m reading Scott Anderson’s Lawrence in Arabia right now. Can you post a pic of the movement as well?

There is a pretty comprehensive lawrence of arabia megathread here https://omegaforums.net/threads/lawrence-of-arabia.78798/

There are also a number of threads regarding saudi gift watches with various arab leaders illustrated in similar fashion. I think these were diplomatic gifts.

Lawrence and Rbt Houdine,(the automata maker) are interesting figures in modern middle east history. It is easy to be a fan of such interesting people, who changed history.
