The amount of work that case needs is beyond just re-plating, why not just but a nice one?

No, but thanks for the hint. Will definitely bid on this one! But I fear that people will pay an extra just for the Türler (which I don't care about).

If you know a reasonable one... And restoring is a hobby. I'm currently improving my plating skills with a cheap Citizen Eagle 7 😉

I am not a lover of the GP watches but in my opion the dial is very nice and the watch will look very good once you will plate it.
