Hi guys

Would appreciate that you share your thoughts on this one. Is it a redial? Case is 37.5mm, is it original? And what about the movement? I'm not an expert about this brand but I found this one just wonderful.

Thanks for your help!

it sure is pretty. But there looks like paint up the edges of the numerals (look at the 2 in the close up)..... a redial perhaps?

serial number is late 1953

1600e does seem awfully steep..... I might go 800 if the dial was original

I think the markers are not painted but applied on the dial. 800 even with gold case?

Yes the numbers are applied solid gold pieces. But look at the inside of the four on the picture immediately about, doesn't that look like black up onto the numeral, like it was in place when the paint was applied. I may be wrong but I think its a redial. The crown is a different colour. Its not a nice enough watch to spend much over 800 on.

I once paid a "newbie" tax on a nice Rolex with numbers that had that feature...... some things you learn the hard way I guess.

The watch was later traded back to the same shop for a clean and proper Constallation so no harm done.

This is NOT a Longines-case.
The distance between the letters on the dial seems to be too short; maybe correct but i´d be suspicious concerning black dials generally...
Price is much too high for that.
