I am interested in a Speedmaster, but several alarm signals have been triggered: hands, crown and bezel have been changed during service. It is not insurmountable if the price is appropriate, but in this budget, it is better to check everything.

I would like to know your opinion on its case, and to avoid any influence, I will give the reference of the Speedmaster a little later.
For you, what reference is it?

Thank you for your help

Well my question is probably too vague. So I'll rephrase it: do you think this case is that of a 145.012?

Hi,
Chronoholic ( also a member here ) did some fabulous work on studying case profiles and here is a clip of one of his pictures for you to examine.

yes I know this comparison.
so for you there is nothing worrying in this case for a 145.012. the serial number is 24.339.xxx

145.012 was my first thought in the case.

the lug ends turn downward "abruptly" so to speak, which fits a 145.012 . So if the inside caseback confirms 145.012 it looks good. The movement number for a c 321 is in the range for 67 or 68 also.
From the picture left side of the case the lug on the right seems to have a wider polished bevel towards the end, compared to the left lug, maybe polished or picture angle.

having it in my hand, I have the impression that it is the case of a 145.022. the lugs seem thicker to me than on the 145.012.
am I wrong?

yes, the caseback is noted 145.012 SP without a specified year. this makes me think of a service caseback. the watch had a service at Omega headquarters in Bienne in the early 80s and I suspect a replacement of the case (and the bezel, the hands...). at the time we did not worry about the anachronism of the parts.
