I leave the expensive watches at home when I travel as I often take public transportation and don't want to encourage any thieves or muggers especially in today's world. I've been wearing my Seiko Diver 6105-8110 for years while traveling in the US and internationally. The watch has been to San Francisco, Lake Tahoe, Chicago, Boston, New York, Washington DC, Miami, Hawaii, and a few other places in the USA. It's international journey has taken the watch to Canada, Mexico, England, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Scotland, Wales, and Czech Republic.
All of these have been on Work trips os … I just take one watch per trip. The Alpina made the last 2 and will make next years too…
It has been to Bruges, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Barcelona, Cinque Terre, Florence, Verona, Piedmont, Venice, Milan, , Ambonnay, Epernay, Le Mesnil, Paris, Bordeaux, Sirmione and a truckload more
Next year, will be adding Peschiera del Garda, Rome, Bologna and hopefully a few more spots…

Garmin 935, for last few years. After I lost my bag in Shanghai (with Bond inside) and got it 30days after getting back home. I have stop to carry few watches and take just Garmin and also 1 dress seiko or vintage Omega if I need it.
My Minerva Pythagore has been twice around the world with me – once on a real RTW trip Zurich > Hong Kong > Sydney > Fidji > Cook Islands > Tahiti (the old Coral Route) > L.A. > Vancouver > Zurich, and once to the other side of the world for a 2 months bike tour in New Zealand with stops in Dubai, Bangkok, Sydney, Rarotonga and Aitutaki (second attached photo: her basking in the palm shadow on one of Aitutaki's amazing beaches).
