Nice thread. Still, I have to wonder if most posts are really indicative of an existential mid-life crisis, or if you all are just using the concept as an excuse to buy cool stuff you don’t need? 😗

The way I figure is that a mid-life crisis is usually less of a crisis and more of a man finally being able to afford some of the things he has wanted since he was thirteen. I've always wanted a Moto-Guzzi Eldorado (my dad rode one)
For me its not sitting still, looking to visit the planet before I kick it. I'm no airline pilot just a regular guy, so I'm doing this my way minimum 4 star hotels preferably 5 star hotels,
last year it was New York, Toronto, Norway (always wanted to ride a mountain bike down a mountain did this in Norway) Naples, Amalfi, Capri & Sorrento. Caribbean through Panama then turn right to Costa Rica then up the coast to with a so far this year, London to Venice on the orient express, onward by road to Pizza, Florence then Rome. flew to Turkey, Lisbon. next week, Paris, south of France, Monaco. next month Calgary road trip to Vancouver, July in Singapore (I love this place) Switzerland. August, Cruise to Greek islands Bodrum Turkey. Then looking at Madeira and the Canary Islands for this winter.
Southern hemisphere will commence from 2019 though 2020.
