In that whilst condemning it as ridiculous, I have a sneaking liking for this ostentatious confection:

These two old cars must qualify. My best friend is driving the Daytona and I'm driving the Goat. If you're a car guy you might appreciate them both, but the Goat convertible in this color (original) is one of two known. Interesting side note for you Pontiac lovers. The color is called "orbit orange," but it looks a lot like yellow. The "carousel red" used at the same time looks much more like orange. It was the 60s. I nearly forgot. It's a Judge. This was a cruise night in a quaint town. The Daytona has about 75 actual miles.

Remember the clackers from the 70s?
Oh god... I haven't thought about them for 30 years, probably...

Saw a few G&S's in this thread so I figured I would share my Fibreflex.
Looking back, I technically bought it at mid-life since I got it when I was 15 and now I'm 30.

My past midlife crisis was the yellow speedster replica in my Avatar followed closely by a Corvette 78 Pace Car. My recent midlife crisis was buying a derelict house which I've just rebuild - and watches! Both an expensive hobby. As I move into the next stage of my life I am not sure but I really want to relocate to Poole in Dorset - uk. From there I will take up paddle boarding and again kayaking. Oh and I may/may not receive my on order Daytona in this time!!

I'm just living life doing whatever I want. Don't know if it is a crisis of some kind. Three of my friends have just been diagnosed with cancer. 2 of them are terminally ill and will not see their next birthday and one should pull through. All under 50 years of age. Lifes too short, one day you might wake up and be dead. Do what makes you happy.

Just about to give up practice for a year to do an MA... not sure if it's a mid-life thing or a carpe diem thing, but it's the alternative timeline of my life from 30-40 years ago.

At three score and ten I seem to have missed out on my midlife crisis, perhaps there is still time 😁

Ah I've seen pictures of your nice family and abundant watch stash so you already got it made in the shade 😁
