My Ducs, before I decided to just ride off-road after a woman texting ran me off the road, and race replica helmet collection I was starting. The sound of a Duc twin...they moo like a cow when you roll on the throttle....love it. Harley guys would always give you a glance too at stop lights becuae of the "potato potato potato" V twin sound.

I got these glasses from a guy in California .His fathers friends daughter was dating Ed Parker in the mid 70's.
Elvis gave the glasses to Ed Parker.

I think I’m having a [skateboarding] midlife crisis as I’m currently in my 55th year of existing on this planet. 😲

I just dropped some coin at the Vans store in the mall...Vans shorts [pictured below], Vans belt [wearing below but not visible], Vans socks [pictured below] and Vans shoes [pictured below]. I sprinted home from the mall and changed into my new Vans stuff so I could skate [in proper uniform] my vintage G&S deck with Gull Wing trucks and OJ wheels that I purchased new circa 1980. I still don’t have a Vans shirt but I believe it’s appropriate to wear a Metallica t-shirt [pictured below] since members of Metallica are known skaters. Anyway...I’m thinking about purchasing a new G&S Fibreflex Pintail longboard. Always wanted a longboard...might as well stick with G&S.

So...what’s your past, present, future midlife crisis?

NOTE: Phlieger Phriday with a Raine Inc. protective band! 😁

Just turned 56 here and I still have my 1977 ARROWSMITH board with Road Rider #4 wheels and X-caliber trucks. I used to date the manufacturer's neice in High School.

Am I brave enough to get on it again? Not sure...

So, the current mid-life crisis is mountain biking again - I have a Trek Powerfly 7 eMtn Bike that I love to ride. I have lung disease but can sometimes leave my O2 tank at home due to using the pedal assist motor. It's still a workout, and very capable on the trails.

Does the 2017 WRX LTD with 700 watt JL Audio amp and Focal speakers with dual 10" Kenwood Subwoofers count as part of my midlife crisis?

Only if your wife hates it.

I ride bike, but only for exercise. Helps keep the weight off. Not counting that as a crisis.

She hated the Subaru STi that I was getting (too loud, too bumpy), and the WRX was the compromise (which also saved me $8K). I really missed my 2004 STi and talked about buying another one for the past 10 years. After the test drive she said I could buy another one as long as I didn't expect her to ever ride in it with me.

So, I should have bought the STi...

@larryganz those ebikes are great. I don’t own one, only demoed, but it changed my mind instantly. I like nice bicycles, and pushed back against those. Riding it though, makes you feel like your 7 yrs old again. I think there going to be really, really nice in a few yrs (not that they aren’t now).

Oh...gee whiz...pics or it didn’t happen. 😁

Ok here you go, but don’t tell Emily... One spring morning a few years ago, after figuring out I had no idea what to do with the rest of my life, I got married in Chelsea Old Town Hall on the Kings Road. We hired a couple of old London buses to take our guests to the restaurant afterward ..

Well, it was either her or a Ducati...

Moveable feast here, bought into the business I worked for, bought some handmade acoustic guitars, bought a Kayak and got into writing for a fishing mag, Bought a Nissan 370z then a Jeep Wrangler, drank very good wine, started making watch straps from fish leather, travelled a bit, got married to my long term partner and had another child with her, oh may have bought a couple of watches too... Ive calmed down a bit in the last year or so...

I guess this would be a future mid life crisis purchase considering I’m mid way to mid way, turning 25 this month. But nothing will keep me from my grail of grails Omega.

I stumbled across this last year during my car search. Dealer had it mislabeled online as an A8L - it's actually a short wheelbase A8 (last model year sold in the US) and it's a bit of a unicorn among a plethora of LWB A8's here in the Northeast). Car is a stealth beast - 4.0T, twin-turbo, 435 hp. The massaging seats are nice too.

A mid-life crisis car is not an A8...it would be an R8 hah.
Or at least an (R)S something.

But that is a very unique A8 you have yourself there.
Go get a stage 1 APR ECU tune and you will gain over 100ftlb of torque and almost 100 more HP!

It's gone now but the Saint had nothing on me.
Look around and you will see 4 other Volvo's one for each kid and one for the lady.
Roger would have been please. Yellow Aston Martin next?

That sounds fantastic but I don’t think I can get in and out of it now.

Thanks! It's still under warranty so I'll wait on the APR tune until the warranty ends, or maybe go for the Q8 if it ever gets announced in the US.
