Hi fellows, As maybe few already now, I've a ST 105.012-66 CB from end of August 1967 (according to the extract of the archives) and from Senegal btw. On this extract it is not mentioned what bracelet came with the watch but according to the "famous we all know" Omega Speedmaster Table it should be a 1506 (16 endlinks). I'd need to be sure the 1039 (516endlinks) came only with the 145-series...Given that my ST is a very late 105.012, I need your help and knowledge to find out the right bracelet reference. The purpose is that I'd love to buy one but I need to know which reference. Many thanks for considering my request !
This thread suggests either would be appropriate, with perhaps the 1039/516 being more appropriate for an August 1967 watch.
Here is a 105.012HF, all original, full setup with 516 end links https://omegaforums.net/threads/this-could-be-a-bit-special-going-to-see-it-tomorrow.74800/ From the looks of the buckle, Probably a 1039 bracelet
1039/516 will be easier to find and probably cheaper. If it's accepted as a viable option, that might be the best option.
Or, to be more precise: you want a 1506? Can you tell the difference between the two from one meter away? If not, go for a 1039 because it’s also correct and you might have less headaches finding and paying for one. I feel good with my 1039s on either the 105.012 or 145.012. Recommend.
