Not that Omega doesn’t have great modern offerings. They certainly do and I own several of them. But what is your favorite era for Omega given the company’s 170 year history? Feel free to include photos from your collection. For me, it’s absolutely the early 50’s to the mid 60’s. Here are a few of my favorites from my collection that are representative of that period.

Has to be the 60s/70s for me. I have a few more but no photos on my ipad. I really like the designs from that era. It might also be because I was born in the 70s.

late 60's for me, or early 30's through to 1945
Pretty much the same here tho maybe leaning a bit more into the 70's. The original dials on some 30's-40's pieces is about as good as it gets for me, but once we get into the chunky chronograph sports watches it's like a whole other brand, but just as enjoyable. I just know that I get very excited when I see a seconds subdial or a tuxedo dial.

50's and 60's, but I did like the comeback in the 90's as well.

50s to 60s for me. This is probably a controversial position I take but for me Swiss watches don't overtake American watches in quality or beauty until after WWII. At that point the American industry became stale and the Swiss continue to innovative and produce better and better products.

Is that strap Shagreen? It looks like a raspberry! Very unique.

I agree with what seems to be the consensus.... 1950s to 1960s

Don’t know about that. I would agree with you, but we have several votes so far for the 1970’s.

The early 70s are my second favorite era.... remember the colorful Seamaster Fifa honoring the 1970 World Cup?

Another vote for mid-50s to mid-60s. The styling is flamboyant in its own way, without being overdone like the 1980s and 1990s. The men's watches weren't way larger than they need to be. There are some nice watches I have from outside that era, but they usually started being made then and continued without large changes - moonwatch, Explorer.

Yes, I had a pair of pants in the 70s with those same colors. 😲

Mid Sixties to mid Seventies for me. Would have loved to have been a young adult growing up through that era(not that I want to be older than I am but you know what I mean ).

I’m with the 50s-60s guys, but wouldn’t wanna exclude some pieces from other eras in general. I do love some of the 70s weirdness, for example - purple dial with orange second hand, anyone? 😀
