I live a few miles from my place of work, so my driving mileage is pretty low. I don't take a lot of flights, and you couldn't pay me to take a typical cruise. Maybe I'll put solar panels on the roof one of these days.

Released in 1964 for the Tokyo Olympics -- to bring the world together.

Just curious, did the bring the world together part work? It’s a great watch.

Well, it looks like the games achieved pretty good coverage (participants per country shown below). I wasn't around in 1964, but I'd like to think I'd feel more connected to others around the world with this sort of watch made by the host nation.
