Agreed pic is bad and hand obscuring text. Can't see much.
Don't buy until better pics supplied.

Font doesn't look correct for the 50s.

My guess is the originality of the dial matches the originality of the buckle pretty much spot on.

Thanks already, the seller sent me a few more pictures.
The dial doesn't look to bad to me, but I guess the hands should be gold?
The description says it comes from a watchmaker, so this might be hacked together from leftover parts.
What do you think?

You're quite right in your intuitions: In addition to what was said above, I also don't like what appears to be low quality print resolution. If the watch has rose gold hands we would expect rose gold numerals. They also contain Lume, so would expect a dial with Lume. This dial has no Lume. It's a frankenwatch.

Gone for 301€.
Thank you all for your advice. Well, I stayed strong and resisted the black dial and didn't bid. I'm so proud of myself!

But I couldn't resist to this beauty that was asking for my help ::facepalm1::

Will post more pics when it is in my hands.

I admit, 275$ doesnt sound like much for a vintage Omega, but...

Since you're posting .de-links I'll assume you're in Germany. 25$ shipping, 60$ import duty so your total comes to 360$. Sounds like quite a lot for a watch that'll need a crown (and stem) and likely a full service, looking at that movement. And when that is all done and you've spend 600$+, you'll still have a relatively small watch with a stained dial, a case that has holes in it's gold-cap (see the back of the lugs) and a large piece actually missing from the case back.

I'll cross my fingers that it'll be better in the flesh. If you want to go low-budget, drop me a PM with the tube diameter once you got it and I'll see if I have an Omega crown that fits and looks ok. Won't be the correct one, but maybe close enough.

@MtV
I got an offer from the seller for 235$ + shipping, so I had to catch it. You are right, still a lot of money in the end, but I love the patina of the dial and it looks all original to me.
I would love to bring this piece back to live, so I don't take the service costs into account. It's a hobby...
