Kurt Russell is criminally underappreciated today. He seems to be living it up though so good on him.

The Thing is one of my all time favorites, peak Russell

That's a good movie, but I think peak Russell is probably Captain Ron. Terrible movie but it's like the director just told Russell to have a blast

He did Guardians of the Galaxy and a couple other smaller projects- I think he can pretty much pick and choose whatever he wants to do. And considering he is with Goldie- I think that is all he wants to do.

Yeah that's why I said he seems to be living it up. I think he's chilling (as well he deserves to; he did a TON of work in the '80s and '90s) but I kinda wish he'd do a few more things!

They have a history, as Kurt was a large character in The Hateful Eight....

He’s been in so many good movies it’s hard to pick a favourite. The Thing is right up there, along with the movie that started this sidetrack...Used Cars...haven’t seen it in a long time, but I remember it being quite funny back in the day.

Another that comes to mind is Big Trouble In Little China...Kim Cattral didn’t hurt that movie either.

If you ask my wife she will pick one as her favourite in the blink of an eye...Overboard.

Used cars was funny but a very dark comedy if I recall. The thing was the first movie that actually scared the shit out of me. Sure I had seen Jaws, the exorcist, the Friday 13th movies- but the Thing....fυck!

Used Cars -- watched that a couple of times in college. Usually with large quantities of beer in the nearby vicinity. "Too f***in' high!"

Both good ones (Overboard is another underrated classic, though it got the remake treatment recently. Despite bad reviews, I thought it was actually quite a good take on the original. Helps if you appreciate Latam comedy though in order to appreciate Derbez.)
