·I sourced a vintage omega watch for my sister's 40th birthday. She loved the watch but not the strap. I had one that she liked but it was missing the strap keepers.
I posted on here looking for a replacement strap or keeper. @OSC reached out and offered to make some for me. Not only was he kind enough to make them for me but would not accept any form of compensation for his time and effort.
I know there are many members who are helpful in many ways. It is nice to be part of this community and such acts remind us that perhaps the world is not as cold and cynical as we might think it is sometimes.
