I also confirmed there will not be an option to upgrade their current GMT models to the new in-house movement like the are offering for the 3 hand model with MPB1000 movements (pic below).

Although I'm not sure I'd be interested in having them change the movement from the ETA 2893-2 to their in-house caliber, since I should be able to take the ETA to most watchmakers for a service instead of sending to Yema.

Info on upgrading the MPB 1000:

Are you a member of the Yema Owner's group on Facebook? They sometimes have campaigns in that group where you can vote on which designs they pursue.

One word of warning to Yema buyers: they do NOT offer their advertised 14-Day money-back guarantee on limited edition models. Although the sale page clearly seems to state that they do (see below), their "Refund Policy" -- which you have to click through a link at the bottom of the page to get to--says that they do not. Should you make the mistake of not reading the fine print and then decide you want to return one, they will refuse. I had to put up a MASSIVE stink with their sales rep that went on much too long (he tried to argue that no watchmaker offered returns on LEs; I pointed out that no other watch company offered a money-back guarantee on their sale page). To their credit, eventually, once I contacted the CEO directly, the purchase was refunded. This was months ago and I truly don't understand why they have not modified their website to remove the money-back claim on their LE watches...

Please note: I say this as a satisfied Yema customer and proud owner of the Superman Bronze LE (blue dial)... I have no problem with a no-return policy; I just think it's very misleadingly presented and potential customers should be aware.

i like my blue bronze, but they're still a greasy company.

no chance they're ever going to make 1948 of each model in this campaign as well. they prolly made around 1000-1200 bronze blue total...no even close to the 3900 they said.

Loved my Superman GMT, had no issues with it whatsoever as outlined in the beginning of the thread. But, I bought it thinking of using it as a travel watch, and the unidirectional bezel + bezel lock didn't quite work out for my intentions. So, I let it go to a more loving household. Instead, now I'm waiting for the Superman 63 - I ordered it with the "scales" bracelet which won't arrive until later this year, and can't wait!

And now that new GMT Bronze Blue is kinda tempting me even though I don't think I'd wear it much

That bracelet is sick, I really like it.

I think I'll do the same and let go my Superman AF 41mm as I think it is just too big for my wrist. The lugs are a bit too long on me. So, I'm thinking to either go for the 39mm one or the Navygraf... I'm not too keen on the bronze ones.

Not sure yet... But first things first, I need to sell the AF one

I actually am but I haven't seen any campaign on that topic. I think they have now done enough Superman versions, and should move on to new territory.

I must say that the colours combination is very attractive, but I don't know much about bronze to be honest in terms of long term "resistance". How will it look in 10 years etc ... Obviously, assuming the watch stays in the rotation that long. I really like the blue, but I have too much blue already, I'd like to include some green now in my collection :)

Now what I like about my current AF Superman is that it is a strap monster! It is just a tad too big I think
