And anyone that had not pre-ordered are not going to get an opportunity to buy one in Gamestop this side of Christmas for sure.
that may be true for gamestop but in my opinion..... and its just that, an opinion.... I think there's gonna be a lot more available prior to Xmas. Sony themselves has said there will be a lot more stock before the years end. Also I think it depends on region. I can only speak of what I'm hearing or reading about in the U.S.

My guess is your right. There will be a lot of new stock. I'd be less sure there will be enough to meet demand.

I see you got yours. How are you finding it? Is your 'nephew' loving it? Also, if you're not playing with your watches any more, can I have them?

its going to be an Xmas gift so it hasn't even been opened, nor does he know about it.

That's a hard no haha 馃槣

Also love playing Among Us
a very addictive and simple game. got my wife hooked as well. I can't stand how most of the players are 10 year olds who don't play seriously but hey... it is what it is.

I almost bought DR2 on steam the other day since it was on sale but ultimately decided to wait since I got 2 other games already. I just don't have time and im a completion'ist so it would just be standing in line waiting. I had a full rig on order but it didn't come to fruition (for reasons that are a story on their own but let's say small businesses are great to support but can be dangerous when spending big money) Do you use a wheel and pedals with DR or controller?

So Dirt Rally isn't a "complete the game" type experience - there are daily stages, weekly rallies, and monthly championships (3 or 4 rallies) that we all compete in. You can hop in and out whenever you like 馃憤

As for a setup, I don't have the space or extra money for a proper seat, wheel, pedals, and triple monitor setup so I just stick with the controller. It does make things a bit difficult in terms of fine steering adjustment, but I just set the cars up for a bit more understeer and it works 馃榾 Besides, it's just a game - as much as I love it, I think a seat and such would turn it into more of an obsession than it already is!

games are life! But seriously I do understand how you need to buy add ons and what not. I play AC now and have a wheel setup and even with that I dont buy all the packages to keep going because of the lack of a rig. my plan this fall was to get a decent setup ready for the boring winter and I got hosed by either a start up company with bad work ethics or it was all a scam to begin with. i got my money back so I should probably get back on the hunt.

Its been PC for me since the beginning. Haven't touched gaming in almost 6 years but played through Assassins Creed Syndicate and Modern Warfare recently.

Also awesome that the new COD's are cross platform, surprisingly I don't dominate as I thought I would with a mouse and keyboard. 馃槨

Life long PC gamer myself. I mainly use my Xbox S for media streaming to support my aging TV. Tried console gaming but never got into it and still prefer my PC any day. Most (all?) games have better aim assist when a controller is used so it's not surprising that you may find it harder in some ways on a mouse and keyboard. Slap on a XIM and you get mouse and keyboard with controller level aim assist, although that's arguably cheating 馃榾

I've never participated in the mad rush for any new item. I'll happily wait until stock levels are nice and plentiful and have it delivered to my door if that's my preference. Drilling the same into my children.

I used a cronusmax for years to be able to use an Xbox elite controller on ps4. as long as you don't take advantage of the rapid fire and other options like that I dont consider it cheating. luckily with PC im able to use that same controller with easy.

Yeah you're right. I do a lot better on hardcore, I think there is no aim assist there; finally getting some of my old k/d's back when I used to play MW2 religiously.

I had to google Cronusmax because i had no idea what it is or does 馃が馃

Anyone claiming that they purchased it solely for its basic ability should be :whipped: to within an inch of their lives 馃槜馃槜

used one for years and never as so much considered even trying out any other feature. I just wanted to be able to use a quality controller that has paddles on my PS4. The dualshock thumbstick locations don't help my hands at all and I know im going to have some carpal in the future. I find the Xbox controller to be more ergonomic. Deciding factor for me was the release of the elite series controllers which no aftermarket company who does paddles can touch in terms of quality. My only issue was how to make it work on PS4.

Since the conusmax still needs to feed thru a usb hub and a dualshock to register, you end up with quite the mess of wires. I threw together this little contraption to house everything. De-soldered a broken dualshock enough to use it as a "key" and tucked it all away in a cheap harbor freight box. Drilled out the pressure relief vent for a panel mount usb and made it all compact and portable between my multiple PS4s. even have enough room left in the box to pack up the elite controller and the cables.

Everyone I know in the UK, all over Europe and further afield has kids fixated on FIFA on the PS - even the pro's play against them on their off days...I had heard the FIFA series over the last 5 years has reaped 100's of Billions - I am not sure there is enough space to add all the zero's if one typed out the revenue number in full...

I'm going down to the Mammy on December 22nd, so decided to self quarantine for 10 days beforehand to minimize any risk of giving her Covid. The day I start (yesterday) I got the call from Gamestop. Your PS5 is ready for collection. I'm a lucky swine. 10 days with no visitors and no social commitments, just me and my PS5.

I'm 48, life really shouldn't be this carefree. I'm either doing something really, really right, or something really, really wrong 馃槑

Just got one as well, one of the biggest stores in Paris, and they just had 2! A friend pre-ordered it but went with the XBOX instead, so I was lucky.
The unlucky part though, is that it's a gift for my brother in law 馃榿

Oh well, I still have fortnite on the Switch :whipped:

There was a Smyths drop last night but after 3 minutes, no one could add anything to their basket. It sold out in 60 seconds. Really disappointed in the scalpers for ruining so many people's holidays and now 2021.

I want an 55" OLED screen (LG CX 55), they were down to 10999TRY at the end of December, then became 12499, now 13699!

But I'm intentionally not buying things of this nature again until I retire, otherwise they consume your life, I sold my gaming PC some time ago too, it was quite liberating - and saved me from depression as I became somewhat functional again
