It hurt me right in the bank account but no regrets, this watch will never leave my ownership. Only my second brand new watch in fifteen years!

1976 0124, I now have all 3 versions of the 0124, I'll post pics together soon.

Very cool early model LCD quartz with some great functionality.

I really like how the date is displayed in the top window and how the crown is used to control the functions.

Yours appears to be in good condition. Looking forward to the group picture.

Thanks! Happy to hear there are some vintage digi appreciators on this forum. Both my gold and silver are in great, almost mint condition. The square case one, not so much

If you hit the buttons in the proper sequence does it self destruct in a nuclear fireball?

Now but you get transported back in time into a 1976 Cadillac El Dorado and your wardrobe gets changed to sans-a-belt pants and blue rayon butterfly collar shirts with gold chains and chest hair implants

Hmm... so a Seiko sub forum...

I mean I guess it maybe could kinda work if there were enough interest...

Only 88 pages though, makes me wonder if people are really that into it or not

The original post has 73 likes now, if you’re into Seiko enough to read this go throw a like on that first post and we’ll see how many there are.

I just wonder why not.
Looks quite undisputed to me that nowadays Seiko has a place in a lot of passionate hearts, regardless how many likes the first post has.

I do need a new battery though the A904-5200... also trying to locate my grandfathers old 70s 0634 Chronograph and get it running too.

What icon best suits a Seiko forum, GS logo or maybe the one on the clasp in my previous post?

I think the GS or a Daini/Suwa emblem. The SQ is their Quartz line (not that I’m quartzist). Thanks by the way.

I did a quick search for threads which have Seiko in their title and found 12 pages.

I went through them and took out all the for sale threads and there were around 64 threads created which relate to Seiko.

Many of them wind up in the 'other watch brand forum'.

A dedicated forum, which would be easy to find and post in, I suspect will show rapid growth.
