Hmm... since the original title of this thread is now no longer needed, should we change it to “WSRUW: What Seiko Are You Wearing Today?”

It hurt me right in the bank account but no regrets, this watch will never leave my ownership. Only my second brand new watch in fifteen years!

I want to see these in person, but the pix have all been amazing. My next high-end Seiko (or GS) is going to be a hi-beat. Unless, of course, I stumble across an amazing deal on a Spring Drive and end up with another one first. 😉

A favourite terrestrial tool watch. I swapped the OEM leather strap for a 'NATO Green' Isofrane strap, making this an all-weather combo 😀

Again, blue face today!

Seiko 5 automatic, day date,
(Weekdays black, Sunday red on white, numbers are white on black)
7/1968 prod. date
Ref.no. 6119-6040
Blue sunburst dial, creamy yellow & blue inner index bezel,
Came probably original with a steel bracelet, as there are marks seen around the lugs from heavy wear.
