What would be a logical choice for the next Seiko to add to my set?

·If I were you I'd sell one of them and get an Alpinist, vintage or modern. I'd go vintage for a little more diversity.

I am not familiar with the Alpinist watches but I really like what I've learned so far.
They seem to have changed quite a bit over the years.
I like the modern SARB ones, but I think my preference is for the SCVF watches from the 1990's.
My understanding is the scvf005 is the black dial one, the 007 is the cream dial, and 009 is the green one.
Where is the best place to look for one? eBay? here (OF)? amazon?

As for where to look for one, they pop up in various places, ebay, on Reddit's watchexchange(which is ok if you buy the seller and research the piece, as in any other marketplace) and I have seen a vintage one on OF's marketplace too.

·Owning a dark blue dialed Seiko Presage "Cocktail Time" and a 144.022-69 Speedmaster, a nice white dialed watch has been on my list for a little while. I've been eyeing the Rolex Oyster Perpetual 39mm 114300, but this beautifully photographed Seiko SARX033 really caught my eye and might just have moved to the top of my list.

I would never say the Presage SARX033 is in the same league as the OP 114300, as it is also about $4.5K less to buy than the Rolex, but it (definitely) punches well above its weight from a quality and finish perspective. The SARX033 is perfectly sized at 40.8mm diameter (w/o crown), 11.5 mm thickness and houses the workhorse 6R15 movement - which has consistently outperformed the specs running regularly at +6 seconds per day.
Good luck on your hunt for the perfect white dial!

5 months later I finally have one, and it is more beautiful than in the pictures, this is going to get a lot of wrist time in the coming months.
