Haven’t taken this off since getting it on Saturday. I’m really happy with it and it’s not lost a second in the last 48 hours.

A handful of our watch hunting treasures in the south pacific 😁
Wow, just wow that’s an amazing collection of divers right there. That 62 MAS on the right is gorgeous!

The SPB153J1 arrived and it has exceeded my expectations, I didnt know what to expect quality and finish wise but its just lovely, the immediate feel of sturdiness and quality is there it doesn't feel as plastic as the entry watches. I appreciate the smaller size of the watch without compromising on its wrist presence, the camo green is a true camouflage its like a chameleon with the dramatic shifts of colour from brown to camo green to olive.

This is my y first Seiko, as I wasn't a fan of the finish of the cheaper ones and couldnt justify the Sla with Grand Seiko nearby. So this new line of mid tier watches are just perfect for me.

As I'm always trying to lure watch folks into the NASA photo archive topic... reaching 99000 views
https://omegaforums.net/threads/hidden-gems-from-the-nasa-photo-archive.27812/page-34

I started posting astronaut/cosmonaut photos in other " watch make specific " topics (e.g. Bulova, CCCP, etc...) so now in the SEIKO topic
Admins, don't hesitate to shoot me down for this, if considered topic pollution... I don't have the watches, but I surely have the photos 🤔
.
Everybody knows about the spaceflown SEIKO (1973 Pogue, the A829 on space shuttles and the 2008 SpringDrive Spacewalk on ISS)... but it's lesser known some Apollo astronauts wore a SEIKO after their Moonbound/Moonwalking mission... Apollo 15 LMP James Irwin was a good example

I'd pay good money to have a hairdo and side burns like the guy on the left 😁

Before the addiction was permanent, I never wore a wrist watch consistently so I bought a seiko 5 to test to see if I can/would do it.

Think I'll have to reach further back in my watch box more regularly, this has also not seen the light of day for a while
