My 6159-7000 from March of ‘78 is back from receiving a service and a new crystal. I feel incredibly lucky to finally own one of these.

    Good Evening

The latest acquisition for me, and my first Seiko; the Seiko Prospex Transocean Chronograph 200m SBEC003. A rare piece because of its finish and its caliber.

    Have a nice week

    With kind regards

    Georges

    Congratulations.
    Beautiful example.
Can I ask what these are like to wear?
Can you compare it to any other Seiko divers?

Thank you! It wears extremely well... much smaller than a Marinemaster 300. If you can pull off a 6309 or 6105-811X, you will love it on the wrist.

Here are some comparison pics of the 6159 vs. my H558-500a Arnie, 6309-7001, 6105-8119 and 7548-7000.

    Oh, wow! Nice collection.

    Thanks for the comparison pictures.

Gives me a bit to think about as a 6159 is on the wish list

Dontcha get bored with those big, clunky Seiko dive watches?

They make (or made, since these are 50 year old hand-winders) some pretty cool dress watches too!
