New arrival today, a 6105-8009 from January 1970. The resist/resist versions of these were supposedly the least common variant, although it really makes no difference to the value. While the 6105-8110/9 "Apocalypse Now" divers get more attention, I honestly prefer these.

Last year, I purchased a really nice one from March 1969 and gave it to my brother for his 50th birthday earlier this year. I was sad to let it go, so I've been keeping an eye open for another one for myself. This isn't quite as nice as the one I gave my brother, but it's an honest piece, and I'll enjoy it as a wearer.

I have some high end pieces in my collection but I always gravitate towards Seiko. The one of the most underrated timepiece IMO.

Had to share this pic of my 6139-7010 back from a service in which I had the bezel and crystal swapped with NOS replacements. This one is going to get a lot of wrist time over the coming months. ::love::

I collect watches with the Seiko 7T34 movement and this one is new in to me. It comes from the Sottsass Design studio and I've been after one for at least ten years.
I don't wear my 7T34 all that often but they are "display case" pieces. tmp-cam-940715164611229386.jpg tmp-cam-1209285534380213928.jpg

Seiko 5717-8990 One Button. It has marks, and wear, just the way I like it.

    Two fine looking examples.

It would be pretty hard to pry that 6306 of my wrist

My first Seiko Dibs, if you ever decide to sell.

Gotta say that there's nothing quite like the lume on a Seiko! Love both of these divers, but there's really something special about my SKX
