Might as well start now...

I'm just wearing my usual SMPC. It's been subjected to a week full of boat repairs and cleaning (prepping to sell the boat). Many bangs and bumps, but the SMPC generally creates more scrapes than it takes. Pictured with my Extrema Ratio MF2 folding knife, which is my other boat companion.

Sounds good to me. For a short time around the house this morning it's the '52 black waffle dial Seamaster caliber 355:

Then a switch to the Seiko 009 for a beach day:

(prepping to sell the boat)

There's a saying that goes something like "The two best days of owning a boat are the day you buy it and the day you sell it." I subscribe to the theory that the word BOAT is actually an acronymn for Break Out Another Thousand.

Nice Seiko too, I have a fair bit of respect for those divers, one of the guys I work with has a 150m 1980s Seiko diver that looks just great, always been tempted to go for one of them.

Think you also took out post number #1000 and #1001 there Dennis.

Looks to be in really good shape for a '52. The typography is interesting too.

Thanks. The gold dials tended to stay in better shape if they were taken care of. I scoped out the dial very closely in comparison to the Omega book to be sure it was what it's supposed to be. It needs a little touch of cleaning but it's a keeper.
