I am far from expert & this is one of the reasons that I only purchase new pieces.

I am probably being defensive as I know the chap & he has no reason to lie to me. I have seen some of his other (mostly Rolex pieces) & am a little more comfortable with those as I own DJ & T BB GMT. We also both own AT WT, mine on steal & his on rubber & I have therefore compared closely as I was considering the rubber strap.

Any offence taken is now rescinded 😀.

Yesterday a sailing buddy handed me a GMT Master 2, “I just got this, what do you think?” “Its fake, said I. Nice try testing me!” “But its a really good fake, said he.” “Nope” said I and explained the tells. A collector can spot a poor fake within nano seconds. The good fakes are getting really good however. This faux PP is like that Rolex.
