First time flown for my recently acquired 1971 145.022 from @gbesq …protecting it via a Rothco protective band as well as a caseback protector…“You must take good care of your toys, Sid Phillips…” 👍

Bday party for my favorite new, little watch collector!

Note to everyone out there, this is how to cut a cake (well for those of us with OCD anyway). Well done sir and and Happy birthday to your little watch collector

I count this as cheap’n’cheerful, but it’s pretty sharp with an amazingly detailed dial. Fun era-appropriate steel racing style bracelet goes well imho.

A shameful late night ambien induced offer made on eBay only to find it in my cart the next day 🤦
Bulova a15 reissue- this is a damn nice watch! Strap is a Roverhaven horse-ass I have had for years.

Getting in the Halloween spirit.

Will this scare the little trick-or-treaters?

The "rare" Zodiac Zombie with its limited edition "clean-up-on-aisle-seven" dial patina.

Was a $5 Ebay purchase years ago because I felt sorry for it. A Zodiac Hermetic Incasecurit, it lives in the Home For Wayward Watches. I had it serviced, put a new pigskin strap on it and it's serviceable and ready to go, yet never chosen.

Hot dog…this is definitely worth the old college try. I’m currently on a layover in Portland, Oregon and I have a plan…I’m going to go trick-or-treating in Portland dressed up as an airline pilot wearing a 1971 145.022. FREE CANDY! So if I don’t report for Speedy Tuesday tomorrow, something probably went wrong…

LATE ENTRY: OMG! This is going to be so awesome! FREE CANDY! And I even have a humongous [although somewhat crinkled] Dunkin’ bag to put it all in! I wonder if @pdxleaf will be available to bail me out of jail…that would be pretty cool to have an OF GTG at the jail…
