·I have two of these one has a case that’s beat up had it sitting on my bureau and Maharishi Maharishi Yogi knocked it to the floor with his paw. Fortunately no worse for wear and another ding or two aren’t gonna ruin my day

From what I recall our unusual quartz models take inserts that are made of thinner metal than the mechanical versions. Maybe due to the elaborate screw down crystal holders underneath.
