Just putting my mundane speedy back on I was attempting to do some yard work but have this weird sharp pain on my right side, if I breathe in too deep it hurts like hell. I figure it’s either a pulled muscle or I’m at deaths door. See if I can get one more cloud shot before I head into the great beyond. Oh my buddy Bob stopped by wanted me to go out and do cool things I told him I’m taking it easy today he gave me “the look”

Valjoux 72C powered “Sky Chief” today…
Of course those of us who were paying attention in @TexOmega 's class could tell that its a Val 72 without the movement shot because we know to: "always look to see if the bottom pusher is further distal from the midline(crown) than the top pusher."
Dead giveaway!

I’m not typically a day/date fan, but there are exceptions, especially when they are this cool! - 1971 Bulova Snorkel Oceanographer V - Cal.11ANACB - date stamped N1.

First watch I ever relumed. This one was a cheap-o picked up for next to nothing about 15 years ago. Really glad I hung onto it, and rather like the unpainted old bezel the way it is.

My friend accidentally bought two Seiko 5's, so now we are watch buddies.

Lovely colourful dial but I think I’d need caber-tossing sized wrists to wear it. Sadly my wrists are in the pencil tossing category

Certainly not on the small side with an overall case dimension of 40 x 43mm 👍

Step aside the De Ville, received a call from a good friend asking if I could possibly help him out early tomorrow morning so alarm set and Timex on the wrist as this is important and I know I will check the time often and what better than the Timex.

You all know how it works - not the watch but the watch/strap combo - and it’s taken a long time for this one to match up.

Wow! I agree with you here. Sorry about the comment in my post that came right after yours. I didn't see it as I was in the process of posting my picture. Very cool watch J, no disrespect intended..
