3861 on a Rothco protective band for office duty today…have Dunkin’ will travel…

I can sometimes, but not always, feel a little sorry for someone who has to work over a holiday or weekend but, knowing from your earlier posts about your professional trials and tribulations (and I was very pleased when you got back in the cockpit) I’m really happy to see you working on a Saturday.

I hope you don’t mind my saying so.

After my cats, the brothers Grimm so carefully tore a hole in my sliding screen door so they could escape Alcatraz, I’m doing a repair and a patch but I’m going to have to put a new screen on this. They exploit all weaknesses in my prison system

Saturday evening and little surprise what is on the wrist 😀

Love that logo as rendered on the back of your watch. It's just a really nice extra touch and appealing to an old coin collector from way back.

I rescued what was a very sad 166.024 8 or 10 years ago, with a new dial, hand set, bezel and crystal. It may look like a "Watchco" at first glance but it's an original vintage case and movement with new genuine pretty parts.

With all this talk of stolen Rolex I just hid everything and put on a seiko to mow the yard, I’m taking no chances

Enjoying the woven dial of my "definitely not a Royal Oak" Nivada Mustang 76:

Apparently it is also getting a remake that is coming soon:

Ok I'm lying. I spotted this watch today at a watch GTG here in Florida and snapped a couple pics of it as it has a clam-shell style case like the Gallet Flying Officers of yesteryear. I didn't have the nerve to pull the trigger as it's priced way more than I wanted to spend. 😀
