I knew I had some of these in my Dad's old stuff and just hit the jackpot! A 1954 Canadian "Devil Face" bill. See the deformed looking face in QE's hair behind her ear?

I'm not making this up. You can look these up.

I have the later cleaned up one too.

Being a borderline French Canadian separatist, my Dad always enjoyed telling us about these! I guess I followed in his irreverent footsteps 馃槣

His late 50's cal 501 seemed appropriate to also pull out...YaY!

Today was the first time in maybe a year that someone complimented my watch - or rather she was impressed that my watch strap matched my belt, which matched my shoes. I tried telling her about the Speedmaster鈥檚 illustrious history, but she immediately lost interest... although she did ask why the second hand wasn鈥檛 moving

I always like to keep the second timezone on my GMT set someplace where something important in the world is going on. Most recently +7 in the Ukraine but now +5 to think about my friends in the UK.

The simple thought of time in other places around the globe reminds me there is more going on in the world besides my little slice of it.

Good day all. Wearing a favorite today, my 1966 168.004 hidden crown Constellation. I think that sometimes these are forgotten in favor of the pie pan Connies, but this is a beautiful watch in its own right and with the BOR bracelet it wears like a glove.

Been sitting here watching the Tom Hanks movie Inferno with my Seiko, the only watch that seemed to figure was his Micky Mouse watch and another unrecognisable chronograph worn by Irrfan Khan, any one know what it was?
