What a hoot!
I get on here to post a photo and find Hetcins1 posted a nice example of my morning's choice.
Don't laugh.
Begging your indulgence.
I wore this one yesterday to West Fest, a Czech wing ding that occurs each Labor Day weekend in West, Texas (that's not West Texas) a small town near our slightly less small town.

Sausage and kolaches were consumed. Stuff was bought at the craft show that seemed worthwhile at the time of purchase. Accordions were heard. Let's see, we heard "Blue Skirt Waltz," "Liechtensteiner Polka," "Beer Barrel Polka," "Circling Pigeons Laendler,' "Over Three Hills Laendler" among a number of other tunes. I'm pretty certain that some of those songs listed were the result of liberal borrowing of non-Czech tunes for we also heard a Czech polka band's jumped-up rendition of Chuck Berry's "Frauline." So, authenticity wasn't sought in music selection.

I drew it out with a Sharpie marker, but the watch was crying out to me to free it from a batch of cheap vintage watches being exhibited at a watch repair shop in Abilene, Texas. It was so inexpensive that I couldn't resist bringing it home. It's actually quite cheerful to wear around the house and keeps reasonable time for a five-day work week.
Just went with it again today for church wear. An usher passing the collection plate spied my choice and was enthused about it. The only two watches that I own that have ever been noticed and receive compliments are two that sport flaming re-dials.
