Problem is that he is trying to enable me into a Patek. "Thankfully" blew the watch budget on Xmas for Mrs P.[emoji56]
My Dad's 1973 Seiko "Pepsi Pogue moon watch". Astronaut Bill Pogue wore this model during the NASA Skylab 4 Mission from November 1973 to February 1974 and thus made the SEIKO 6139-6002 the first automatic chronograph in space. The SEIKO cal. 6139 is also the first automatic chronograph in the world when it was released on February-March 1969.
Such a great picture and such a great watch. The Aqua Terra's are the only watches that compete with this model pon Omega IMO.
After getting this back from restoration earlier last week, it's still on my wrist and has gained four seconds over three days. Running near perfectly. -Lee
