Dig those Hammy GCT 4992b’s! 👍

Also, I haven’t been wearing my railroad jobs much lately…they’re not too good for wearing during physical activities which I’ve been doing quite a bit. I will say that I was able to consolidate their storage into one case…the case was acquired from my late Uncle Jim’s estate. I remembered this case from as far back as the early 1970s and he would haul/store many of his railroad jobs in it…so now I get to do that…

You have more pocket watches than I realized. What are the movements in the two up/downs?

I really love wearing this watch on a Barton tropic-style strap. For me, it's much more comfortable than the OEM strap, due mainly to the fact that the deployant clasp (on the OEM strap) doesn't fit the contours of my narrow wrist very well at all. It's sad, because I really like the look of the sailcloth strap, and the deployant clasp -- made of blackened titanium and ceramic -- is so cool.

...in fact, I like this strap so much that I decided to Omega-fy it 😀

My ‘61 Seamaster, and a monitor lizard that crawled onto my picnic blanket. His name is Drake, apparently.

Had a D&I meeting at work, so threw this strap on a cheapie manual Citizen with nice glossy black dial... lots of positive comments (New Zealand is fairly liberal and relaxed about these things) and also major brownie points from my kids.
