Newly arrived today Swatch bio stainless steel chronograph speed-timer , new battery installed and going fine. Irony V8 AG2004 Case and lens could benefit from a polish, overall in great condition with a funky white leather strap. Bought before I sought the advice of my Watchmaker who said loudly and clearly " stay away from these" his explanation was that entry for repair or service on these is not an easy task but luckily this one is going fine. So it will be off tomorrow for a lens polish and if I feel really keen (not likely) I will think about buffing the case though once the lens is polished I will probably loose all enthusiasm for that project as it really isn't bad enough to warrant the intrusion. The lighting on this photo is really harsh and in the flesh it doesn't look anywhere near as bad as my image suggests. Edit, I really like how this looks on my wrist and can see the attraction of a MoonSwatch so I might have to give one some serious consideration once the prices drop to RRP
Just back from the spa, Seamaster 2996 Seachero. My watchmaker did his usual outstanding job. Running smoothly at +1.4 SPD.
Hot dog! Speedy Tuesday at the car wash! Birth year 1964 Echo Whiskey! Cranking Black Sabbath to 11! Good times!
I guess I shouldn't be surprised, given you drive a Ford, but I'm pretty sure that's a smoke detector mounted on the headliner.
