My few hours in a Pitts and a several in an Extra 300 are - by far - the most challenging and the most fun I've ever had in an aircraft. I still grin just remembering it. Aerobatic training started in a 152 Aerobat, moved on to a Super Decathlon, and then graduated to the big boy toys. I hope you have fun and I hope you stick with it. Very rewarding hours.

It was pretty fun…for a while…then I started to get a little “green around the gills”. I didn’t “talk on the big white phone” aka “blow chow” but if my buddy had kept it up, I probably would have. Flying inverted pic with the new 3861…

As you well know from the T-34 in your younger days, there’s an acclimation period. 😀 It took me months of flying aerobatics to build up to 30 minute practice sessions. It’s much easier when you’re at the stick than it is to walk through the maneuver with your instructor. At least it was for me. I was seriously green several times. 😜

I hear you…he let me fly some rolls and loops and I was good…but when he flew stuff that involved multiple axes of rotation, that’s when the big white phone started calling my name.
