These seem to have a bit of a cult following amongst some of the younger generation slap the name Promaster on a Citizen watch and the price doubles or more.
He offered to sell it to me a couple years ago for $12 000 (Can). I can only afford about ten percent of that and will stick with my Tudor. Today he offered it at $17 000 (Can). I can’t even do ten percent now! But I am glad I got to try it on.
Afternoon change out, was meant to have this one back from service and on my arm yesterday but on collection found the strap too short so had to leave at my Watchmaker for him to find a strap extender.
Really was an extravagance to bother to repair and service and cost far more than the value of the watch, a mistake I hope not to repeat too often.
A redeeming feature is it has a fun date setting function where you have a 2 stage push to change day and date, not come across that before.
The last photo a testament to my Watchmakers proficiency on this one.
