Ya gotta get out during the intermittent sunny portions of the day

Is that factory still in operation? It looks pretty quiet.

Monday's back, and summertime is definitely here. 30C / 86F today. Have a great day all!
EDIT: That shadow at 6 is very deceptive. It looks like the bezel was hit with a hammer! It was not, I assure you the bezel is intact.

Well I never got to pick up my newly serviced Seiko as the strap was too short and my Watchmaker needs to find an extender so had to content my self with this Omega for the rest of the day.
He offered me this dive Seiko to buy which I am still thinking about, newly serviced and somewhat rare.

A nice little present from a coworker. Older than me by about 10 years.

Nobody needs a deeeeep diver, so back into rotation it goes. Antimagnetic too, so hanging around the MRI machine is not an issue

I am trying to get this fashion thing. Grey pants, grey shirt, even sneakers grey so I wanted a grey dial watch. Once again the fluorescent band makes me wonder if I bombed the fashion test but considering I top everything off with a Grateful Dead dancing bear it’s probably moot

It was supposed to be up and running this time last year. I hear construction noises every once in a while but I don't think they're making the OLED screens they have in mind. Hynix the Korean chip maker built it for 1.5 billion. 1.3 million sf on 200 acres. This latest company Stratacache bought it for 6.3 million. You can barely get a decent house in Malibu for that kind of money.
I know they'll bring some jobs and money to the area but from a purely selfish point of view I don't care if they never start production. That's one big loud machine down there.
