I'm curious, it's the second time i see the 15 pulsations note, the other being on the medic posted a couple of days ago. What is the purpose of this setup? I assumed on the other watch it had something to do with a medical use...? :0
The pulsations bezel is used to calculate a patient's heart rate. Start the chrono sweep second hand while checking the patient's pulse, count 15 pulsations, and the position of the sweep second hand at the 15th pulsation indicates the heart rate in beats per minute.
Ah, So I was right on my initial guess. Interesting, I never realized they made a specific tachymeter for that purpose. Makes sense though, specially for field doctors, Thank you MMMD
