My neighbor is crazy all that heavy machinery I thought he was putting in a fountain or pond. He just doing landscaping and plants. I could have walked over with a shovel saved him a few K. Well I’m just contemplating the significance of the passing of time with the blue second hand.

Got this little guy for $30. The crystal was so scratched and dirty that it looked terrible, but after a bit of work polishing it up, I think it looks pretty great! I don't know when it was made, but it is keeping time pretty well. ...just need to get a new 16mm strap because this one is pretty grimy. I have a million straps, but none that are 16mm.... the collecting never ends, haha.

Being a Bulova product, it likely has an alpha-numeric code on the case back. L means 1950s, M means 1960s, N means 1970s, etc. So M5 would mean 1965.

A Certina DS-2 PH200m "Burton." Richard and I share two things: an appreciation for Certinas and several disastrous matrimonial decisions.

Not as interesting as 7-eleven, but I am happy with some green tea in the backyard before starting the work from home day of new and interesting problems to solve... The Pouge is one of those, "once you own one" you understand the benefit.. .
That’s a cool idea never really see a pouge on a colored strap like that might give it a try

Thanks, @Walrus! I did a little research after posting and found that out. This one is M0, so 1960. It is in such good shape for being 62 years old! Looks like the hands have been re-lumed, so someone clearly did some work on it at some point. The case is plated (I assume that is what "base metal" stamped between the lugs means), but the plating still looks close to new. I'm debating trying to take the back off to see what the movement looks like and the condition of the gasket... but may not be worth the risk.

New to me!

Wait for it…

I was wearing my FOIS on the inside of my wrist a lot while helping care for my dad, renewed my desire for one of these Drivers.
