Several have asked about the original band. The answer is, I am just too skinny to pull off the really nicely made Omega metal bracelet. I do however really like this watch on a comfortable leather strap.

Back into watches after a few years of focusing my efforts elsewhere. This was my collector restart purchase. I've wanted this plant ocean 42 with orange letters for some time now. Today however, it's on my wrist.

Just back from a service… five months waiting for a part, I’d forgotten how nice it was!

This one has been patiently waiting it’s turn. My one-owner (me), 32-year old Rolex Date-Just. Calibre 3035, Oyster Perpetual. This one has my favourite OP dial, ever. Applied Roman numeral markers. Completely original except for a replacement mainspring. Presently losing 2 seconds daily since I serviced it recently. I’ll let it settle in for a few days now that it is back on my wrist, before I regulate it. With all the kefuffle currently about “tool” watches such as the GMT, Submariner, Daytona, etc., I still like this one a lot!

Just like London buses - WRUW doesn’t see a Gyromatic for weeks and then two turn up in the space of a few posts 😎
