This Longines will always be part of the rotation. I think this has to be one of the most underestimated chronos on the market today? It has so much to offer!
I was wearing my Bulova Accutron 214, 56 years ago tomorrow (April 16) on our wedding day. In honour of that event, I’ll wear it today, tomorrow, and until the notion strikes me to wear something else. Still looks and runs like new. It has its second dial, third circuit assembly, third index wheel, umpteenth crystal, cell, gasket, and strap or bracelet. The Newfoundlander was telling a friend about his axe. He told him she was on her third handle and her second head, but by golly, she was the best axe he ever had! Goes to show you can wear a watch, and still have it look like new!
A birth-year watch I picked up from our much-missed expert, Norman, a few years ago (I hope he returns soon). It’s one I’ve considered parting with to fund newer desires but those gorgeous lugs prevent me from letting go.
