I love the shimmer/texture of this dial under certain light. It’s deep satin black almost reveals a galaxy.

Strap change for a gala event this evening.

This is a huge watch day for me for I've located an entire wing of the "Home For Wayward Watches" that I had misplaced during our move of last October! Being famously absentminded at times, I'd hidden it from myself on a day when we had workmen in the new house. This morning it was located in the bottom of a large door compartment of the safe beneath other items.

I've repeatedly looked high and low for watches. I've been in the safe almost daily since late October, have looked in that compartment at least a time or two, yet the watches remained undiscovered until today. Included within were my first Omega, a '57 Constellation on a BOR bracelet, Omega bumpers on hand here, a quite nice Lemania that the Forum influenced me to acquire, the Shameless Hussy redial '59 vintage Omega 520 Seamaster, the Mudu watches, the only quartz watch, a Seiko that I am sentimental about, Seiko 6309 7040 diver, my old favorite beater post war military style Glycine from a pawn shop 40 years ago, and an early production Zodiac Sea Wolf. While not a large, great, or valuable trove, I like 'em and am sentimental about some few of 'em. Was beginning to fear they were really just lost for good. It was a bit of a downer I must confess and contributed to less watch hobby enthusiasm for some reason.

Will still be busy this spring, but feel much better about enjoying the watch hobby to have found the lost ones.

Do I have a loose screw or what?

I know F1 is sponsored by Rolex, but my SMP300 will have to do. Sorry about the picture quality.
