Rescued AVIA steel skindiver today. Bought it absolutely in pieces and I am happy to have saved it with the help of my miraculous watchmaker. Now I only need a new stainless crown to round it off. I see what I can do after work today... 😉

As one of the many here who change watches nearly every day, this is why I love no-date watches so much. Well, the clean dial helps too, but the work every morning to set the date correctly. Sheesh.

Date windows are a terrible nuisance for collectors anyways. I have long given up on setting the date or caring about it.
