This may come across as me having an ulterior motive but I’d like to put in a good word for yogurt parfaits. Fresh blueberries, granola and a Greek yogurt. I’m not a particularly healthy person but they are delicious and nutritious. I will refrain from mentioning any brand names as I’m not sure I have enough posts to sell yogurt parfaits. So late lunch by the water, already put a couple dings on vader not sure what I did I haven’t been around machinery. TGIF may it be a great weekend for all.
I’ve been trying to come up with an excuse to put this one away, and wear a different watch. But this one continues to amaze me. It has been on my wrist now for over a week, and it is still within a minute. A 1970 Caravelle “transistorized” which is basically a mechanical watch with battery, transistorized circuit, and balance wheel with an integrated magnet. The movement is jewelled, made in Japan, and sold over 50 years ago for $39.95 or $49.95, depending (I suppose) on the case and attachment.
My 1945 Hamilton 992b out for dinner tonight. Worn for many years by an employee of the CNR based in Winnipeg. A real honey of a watch 😉
Hotel Vancouver? The Fairmont label on the honey tells me that might be where you dined. What is a CNR watch doing in a CPR hotel? You got some ‘splainin’ to do! Time change, Sunday morning. You do know how to re-set it, do you?
