When Etsy was decent for watches a while back I became kind of friendly with a seller out of the Ukraine. Got several vostoks and a handful of redialed stuff from him that most people probably scoff at I just thought they looked cool and would buy occasionally. We started communicating this was years back he explained life was tough in the Ukraine he was a single dad raising a son with autism and selling watches on the side helped him get by. I did send him an email last week to check in haven’t heard anything back yet I hope he is OK and here is one of his “all original redials”. Darn I keep wondering how his son is

So excited to have this back on my wrist after Swiss Time in Portland, ME detangled the hairspring. A great reminder to remove my watch BEFORE wrestling with my 11 year old. 😀

I set my GS Shunbun for the first time, straight out of the box, on January 26. I have worn it almost everyday to keep the power reserve up, but have not given it a wind or reset the time since then...after more than 30 days, it is running at just +4 seconds per day !!
